Easy to cook recipe by Mala Bhattacharjya

There are days when you don’t feel like cooking or may be you don’t have that time to cook because of your busy schedule. But on the other hand, you don’t even want to order food from restaurants. I am sure that on those days you look for recipes which are easy to make and give you a taste of yummy home cooked food. So, here I have a simple Bengali easy to make recipe called Steamed Paneer and trust me you don’t need much time to prepare this dish. Here it goes!

STEAMED PANEER

Ingredients:

Paneer (250 mg)

Curd  (4 teaspoon)

Mustard paste (1 teaspoon)

Poppy seed paste (1 teaspoon)

Chilli paste  (½ teaspoon)

Chillies  4

Salt to taste

Sugar to taste

Finely chopped coriander leaves (to garnish)

Mustard oil

Method:

Take a microwave-proof bowl and put the paneer, curd, mustard paste, poppy seed paste, chilli paste, salt, sugar and one tablespoon mustard oil in it. Mix everything well so that the masala coats the paneer. Make sure that the paneer pieces are intact. Then put it in the microwave for 4 mins so that it gets steamed well.

4 mins over? What are you waiting for? Just take it out and garnish with those finely chopped coriander leaves and chillies. (If necessary put some oil in it otherwise leave it)

There you are ready with your STEAMED PANEER.

Serve it with rice or paratha and enjoy your family lunch/dinner.
