Use 1/4th cup of almond oil along with a raw egg and all the frizziness in your hair just vanishes. Mix the two components and make a paste. Apply the paste on the hair as well as on the scalp and leave it for 40 minutes. Then wash it off with normal water and rich nourishing shampoo and conditioner. This is the best homemade therapy for frizzy hair as almond consists of hair emollient and egg proteins help to repair hair strands.

Avocado Mask:

I know the fruit does not taste great but it does help a lot to maintain hair moisture and keeping it well conditioned. Prepare an avocado mask along with curd and use it thrice a week. Your hair will automatically be moisturized and that too naturally. It will have a shine and will be smooth, thus solving your problem of hair fall.

Amla or Indian Gooseberry:

Thanks to this heat that most of your hair has bid you a farewell. But not anymore! Amla consists of vitamin C and anti-oxidants that help in preventing hair fall. Mix amla juice or powder along with lemon juice and apply it on the scalp and leave it to dry. After that rinse the hair in luke warm water. You can do it on a regular basis as this will not affect the texture of the hair and lemon juice is very effective for dry scalp.

Tea is not only good for drinking but also has many benefits for hair. Chamomile tea has a lightening effect on hair which is much desirable in summers. It helps to keep the hair sleek and healthy in summer. You just need to boil water and then steep the tea bag into the water for 10 minutes. After it cools down rinse your hair with the water. Repeat the action 2 to 3 times before actually using a shampoo to wash your hair. You will automatically feel how light your hair has become.

Coconut Oil and Vitamin E:

Wondering how your grandmother used to run after you just to give you a coconut oil hair massage? Well she was right. Coconut oil along with vitamin E has a great nourishing effect on the dry hair and scalp. Mix a part of vitamin E oil along with coconut oil and store it. Heat the oil and then apply it on the scalp and hair. Warm oil is much more effective than normal oil as it penetrates the hair roots and scalp pore well. Leave it on hair for 40 minutes and then rinse your hair with shampoo.

This fruit is not only very healthy but is also good as a hair conditioner. Make a hair mask of banana, honey and coconut/almond oil and apply it whenever you feel that the heat has dried up your hair too much. After 30 to 40 minutes rinse your hair and feel the softness.

Baking soda:

For people who have their hair chemically treated, baking soda is a perfect choice for cleaning your hair. Mix ½ cup of baking soda in one cup luke warm water and let it dissolve. Apply it on the scalp and hair and slowly massage it. This can be used regularly as this cleanses the hair thoroughly and also helps in maintaining the pH balance of the hair.

Now I guess you know that you actually don’t have to shell out all your money in the parlour or saloon just to get away from your frizzes. There is nothing like natural products and the advantage is that they do not cost you more while you can use these products on a regular basis. So give it a try and let your hair smile this summer.
